I hunt hogs a lot, it's a rare trip out to where we hunt that we don't have an opportunity to shoot pigs.
I know a LOT of guys that run the 6.8 SPC (myself and son included), you don't need a big gun really.

It was rainy and windy on Saturday morning..
He was nestled up in the trees about 100 yards out, frozen still, quartering towards me.
I only saw him because I was glassing hard... even when I saw him I watched him and another buck for 10 minutes. They did not move. Finally, he turned his head...
Spent 4 days hunting and testing various ammo..
it's a shooter for sure..

I got one in 300 blackout, the Ranch "youth" rifle for my middle kid..
it's a good little shooter
the trigger has a tad bit of creep but breaks fine.. it's a sub $500 rifle.

It's growing tremendously accross the US..
I am good friends with the SilencerShop guys, they are selling 2500 cans a month all accross...
With the increased use of suppressors for hunting I would REALLY like to see Nosler come out with a Patriot in 7mm08 with a 16-18" barrel.
