In Illinois, they counted any point as a point as long as it is an inch or longer. In Kentucky, a point is counted if it is visible, but it does specify that button bucks are not counted so I guess it actually needs to break the skin. I always heard that eastern count is each point on each...

I never worried much about it. I figured after dark they couldn't see me and I could be anything. As long as they weren't standing directly underneath me, I just climbed down as quietly as I could and walked out without stopping.

Had the camera out at the spot I am taking my nephew to for a week. Only 64 pictures and about half were of the same deer staring into the camera trying to figure out what it is. But a couple smaller bucks showed up. There is a big one sneaking around out there so hopefully he will show up...

After a two day sit, the camera had 273 pictures and about 95% of them had bucks in them. Nothing enormous, but it's nice to see them showing up.
