    T/C Encore advice and info

I own one frame, and several barrel/scopes for it. I have enjoyed the system and they shoot pretty well. The 7-08 and the 25/06 have been easy to load for, as has a heavy .223. All the rest depends on you and what your inclinations and interests are. I am a constant tinkerer and have found a...

    Trimmer opinion/help...

I use some of the Lee trimmers, I chuck the base unit into a cordless drill held by a vise. Have to release the shell holder grip on the base about 1/2 turn for each case.

    Grey Tipped Ballistic Tips

I so wanted to emulate the "Blue Cyclones" in 25-06 made famous here by Guy. My SPS blem sacks were all grey tipped. I got over it.

    Wyoming Draw results out!

Wife and I drew our two antelope tags. The local herd is a little healthier than some places in Wyo. I drew two cow elk tags in different areas. Just covering the bases, two antelope and one elk would carry us to next year. We have willing consumers in the fam if we need help!

    Too old.

Great rifles. I worked over the stock on one for a friend. 30-06 which had been his father's. Under the grip cap was a neatly written paper with Dad's name, phone, and address! Friend was thrilled, and so was I!

    New 223 Wylde

Great write-up! I've been following your adventures for a long time - back when your 25-06 and coyotes were the focus :)

    338-06

Scotty, I'm curious about the rifle. Was it factory checkered? I did my son's M70 Coyote laminate and about wore out my checkering cutters on the laminate glue. It sure looks nice.

    Goofy off the wall question.....

So glad my fuzzy recall wasn't all just imagination. I'll bet there other little brother/big brother combos.

    Goofy off the wall question.....

Been a while since I posted about anything. My question is about "proportionality". I'm old and so is my cartridge selection. I have always thought there are cartridges that for all intents and purposes are sort of in proportion. Like isn't a .223 sort of in proportion to a 30-06, and that in...

Loving the 7mm WSM - 322 Yard Heart Shot

My son's 2006 era laminated M70 Coyote shoots really well also, and is easy to load for. We did replace the cheezy soft rear tang bedding material. Now it is his totally reliable, shoot anything backup rifle. Glad to see some renewed interest in the 7 Wizzum!

    Henry 45-70

I too, have used a rear peep with a brass bead up front, pretty small bead. Like an archer, I sight in with the bead centered on the target, not above or below. Now this way on my muzzleloader, but in the old days I had it on a handy sporterized 7x57. With the right sized bead, taking into...

    The Springfield...

Hunting time with the rifle is special. Hunting with it and your son along is beyond special. Adding to the memories :)
