AB's are stone cold killers. I've had 1 shot boom flops on elk, several deer, pigs, antelope, you name it with every accubond I've shot out of my .270 WSM with 140's. I use the 250 AB in my .338 RUM and have taken 4 elk with it, out to 440 yards and all 1 shot boom/flops. It's an amazing bullet...
Anyone have the correct trim length for .338RUM Brass? The only data I've found online is at Barnes and they say 2.750. Most of my factory brass is already shorter than that by a few thousandths?
If you haven't used wipe out, you are really missing out. Especially if you shoot Barnes bullets. I will challenge you to clean your gun with whatever you want - use the "best" copper remover on the market - heck, use it 10 times. Then shoot wipe out foam down your barrel, let it sit over night...
I had the Leica and sold it. Got the Bushnell ARC 1500 and couldn't be happier. You can program it to calculate bullet drop for the gun you shoot and it displays your drop in inches to your target. It also calculates what angle you are shooting - uphill or down and takes that into consideration...
