    700 rebarrel ?

This June 1 will be 2yrs removed for Me. I had a close friend succumb to many years of alcohol abuse, and it got my attention. I was so fed up with myself I honestly haven’t wanted it once since I made my mind up to stop. My point is that likely something positive will come from this situation...

Old Barnes X bullets vs Tipped TSX

I’ve seen 100gr TTSX driven at very high velocity and it’s very very impressive. Dad has used one for years and all the grandkids shoot his gun when with him… 180-220lb whitetails can’t die any faster.

    Death of My Arken

I had Vari-X III models fail from the recoil of a bullet half that weight. and less. They were replaced for no charge, though. surely they are more rugged than they were 30+yrs ago?

    25 Sherman

This got me curious, so I looked at some reamer prints. In the case of 25 caliber the neck length is .227 Gibbs and .293 Sherman. The Sherman has less case taper and a 40deg shoulder vs the Gibbs at 35 deg. Now, what this translates into as far as accuracy and performance differences, case life...

you could update some pistols for that amount of money.

    25 Sherman

I’m not sure about differences between it and the Gibbs. Rich normally preserves neck length more so than the Gibbs cases I’ve seen in the past, though.

    25 Sherman

It’s been a lot of fun so far. The Peterson brass has proven to be tough and consistent for me. I need to throat it just a tad longer for the 115BT, but it’s perfect for the 100gr. Maybe one day I’ll have a 120-125 gr nosler with a poly tip to try!

    2024 Hunting Season

I’ve got a .416 Rem with the 1-5 leupold. basically identical. It prints very tight with fed premium and a Remington load with solids and a-frames both. Ive only used it on wild pigs so far. My Brother took it to Africa after I did the hard part for him! buff and some plains game

    Revamped 250 Yard Range

I’m lucky to have access, very much so. The 50-500yd range I use at a friends has the loading room about 15 yds from the bench. And his 600-1 mile plates are less than 5 mts drive away. with a good bridge it would be 1/2 mile to the longer ones.
