Just curious as they show a lot of powders in stock and want you to pay with Zelle or bitcoin.. Smells fishy to me.
Thanks

Last spring I attempted and completed a complete refinish of my sporterized 1891 Mauser in 7.65. Sanded the stock down to bare wood, used the Birchwood Casey stock refinish kit,and did a cold blue using the Birchwood Casey cold blue kit. Both kits are excellent products. If you were thinking if...
After our unsuccessful Deer/Elk hunt in CO. My son asked me to work up a good Deer/Elk load for his 30-06. His rifle is a Remington 700, not sure of the model, but it has a 20 inch barrel. In the past I had loaded 165 gr Grand Slams with IMR4350, but this time I would like to go with a little...
I know there are a lot of you members that live east of the Mississippi that come out west to hunt big game. I am fortunate enough to live out here (Utah and formerly Colorado) and enjoy the hunting opportunities. But that got me wondering. How do you decide which State and where that you come...
My Marlin 444 SS never ceases to amaze me.. no matter what load bullet combo I stuff in its chamber, this is normally the results. Not always.. but more often that not..

Range day today.. Hornady 145 ELDX stacked on top on 58gr Norma MRP, Norma Brass, CCI 250 mag primers.. Rifle is a Weatherby Vanguard..Velocity average 3060.. no signs of over pressure, but I am sure these are MAX.. If I mess with the seating depth I am sure it will improve, but these are ready...
Went to the range yesterday and today to try and get things wrapped up for my wife Kelli and I's Mule deer hunt second season Colorado. After what we went through yesterday with her rifle. Ruger # 1 B in 257 Roberts, we were able to breathe a collective sigh of relief.
A little background on...
I think I am giving up on the 115 gr Bergers in my wife's Ruger #1, just don't think they are stabilizing.. Getting down to crunch time as we are going to Colorado next month for a Muley hunt. If someone could run me a QL for 257 Rob, 115 gr Nosler BT, and 110 Gr Accubond, Norma MRP powder, 26"...
As stated in the title, I have H4198, and a little H322. Marlin 444ss 22in bbl. Maybe a run with both of these and a burn chart to see what other powders might perform well..
Thank you to those who share their time to do these for us that ask.. :?:

Getting ready to start a load workup for my 270 Win with the Hornady 145 Gr ELD-X.
I have a brand new box of Norma Brass and I thought that I might weigh it to see how consistent it is. Here is what I came up with. These brass have all been primed with CCI 200 primers. All weights in grains...

Just wondering what the consensus is on consistency and accuracy in the scale department. Do you prefer beam scale? What model and why? Or do you prefer digital? Auto charging or manual? What model and why?
After being frustrated with the 2 that I have (1 Lee safety beam scale, and a Frankford...

Picked one of these up at Cabelas yesterday, Had the on sale for $19.95. Comes with a 50g calibration weight and a nice little powder tray. Seems to be a good little scale. Compared to it my Lee safety scale and it was weighing charges almost .5 gr heavy. Once I reset the Lee scale to zero with...
Just a few pics of my 1891 Mauser Modelo Argentino.. I had this rifle at least twenty years. Picked it up at a Gun Show in Wichita KS back when I lived there. Don't know who did the work on customizing, but they did a top notch job. Trigger is awesome.. still the old two stage, but very little...
Was just wondering if some one could tell me if Quick Load supports the old military cartridges, 7.65 x 53 Argentine, Belgian, or just 765 mauser in paticular?.. It goes by several titles. Am seriously considering purchasing the software. I shoot several other calibers so I know it would be...
