    2023 Hunting Season

It's a lot less gamey than most venison. Also I'd say of all the deer I've eaten it's closest to lamb.

    2023 Hunting Season

Out again today, this time after Chinese Water Deer. CZ527 in .223 Rem with a Nosler E-tip and Ramshot Exterminator powder. Soon found this guy from that spot. He came out and was feeding with his back to me. I snuck along the hegde line to about 60-70, put the sticks up and then he turned...

    2023 Hunting Season

I have found the Bob with E-Tips good on a couple of body sizes Muntjac deer (up to ~35lbs live weight) to Fallow (~65lb with head off, feet off and guts out which was the size of the doe I shot). Scrummy

    .257 heavies

Interesting. Would a 125gr give you much more BC and performance than the existing 115gr? Scrummy

Nosler E-Tips in .257 Roberts seem to be a winner

I have a load for them in my .223 Rem as well. Might well try them on a Chinese Water Deer in the next few weeks

Nosler E-Tips in .257 Roberts seem to be a winner

If I could get them here I'd try them in my 9.3x62 for wild boar and maybe bigger things too but largely unobtainium. Scrummy

Nosler E-Tips in .257 Roberts seem to be a winner

Hi folks, Well, lloks like the E-tip performs well enough on the smallest species of UK deer, the Muntjac. 2 successful kills over last weekend. Now I just wish I could find enough of them to do some proper load development. I have a load shooting about 1" but I think there is more there if...

    Of all your rigs

404 Jeff. Love shooting it but I seem to always goof when loading it (Also those long thin necks make boo-boos easy and terminal).
