    A reminder

The big lie told often enough becomes truth for those that can't or won't think for themselves. That video should be played in the schools.

anybody been to Hodgdon's reloading site?

I haven't been to the Hogdon site in awhile. I agree if you can only pull up one powder and bullet at a time and no ability to compare, they did screw the pooch! Too bad, things are hard enough these days.

    Universal AR barrel nut wrench

It would be great if barrel nuts were a standard size or if most multi fit barrel nut wrenches would fit them all! Good idea you have there.

    Varget in .243 7 .22-250

Didn't shoot any varmageden bullets in the .22-250 but lots of ballistic tips with Varget. I don't see why it wouldn't work with the bullets you mentioned.

After seeing the pics of the bolt, I'm glad you weren't hurt. I hope you can get it fixed.

    Failure to trim?

Your rifle may be able to be fixed by a good gunsmith. It will cost some money but might be worth you keeping the rifle and using it. I'm thinking of getting a digital scale myself so I can read the numbers easier. Good luck with whatever you decide!

    Case trimmer

I'm using a Wilson trimmer with a power screwdriver. It may not be the fastest tool but it is accurate. I stopped using my RCBS trimmer way back.

    Leupold bases

I didn't think about that.. big scopes are heavier but I don't use those. Most of my scopes are VX III. Good luck with whatever you decide to use..

    Leupold bases

I'd be really tempted to use them anyway. I've also had them on a .338 WM. I bought a set of reverse mounts and rings recently and I see no difference between the old ones and new ones. Keep the screws tight and should be good to go in my opinion.

    Leupold bases

I'm interested in Leupold's reasoning for that. I've had them on a 7mm RM before with no problems. I put a set on a 300 WM for a friend not long ago.
