For you that do them or know about them, does having a clean bore versus having a fouled barrel make much of a difference in the consistency of the test? I did back to back ladder tests (15 shots each) starting with a clean barrel. I'm worried that the dirtier it gets the more it may not be...
I did a ladder test today with my 6.5 Creedmoor using RL 26 with 143 gun ELDX (sorry Nosler). My current load is RL 17 which gets on average of 2713 fps. My ladder test with RL26 got me up to 48-48.4 (accuracy node) with a high velocity of 2818 and a low of 2811. Is that 100 fps worth it in...
So pulled a bonehead move and put my seating stem in upside down and seated four cases before realizing. It left an indentation on the primers. Should replace them or do you think they would still work?
So I gave up on the 210 grain ABLR and switched to the 180 AB instead. With 78.0 grains I shot a .658 inch group, classic looking triangle. I was working up and only worked up to the mid load of 79 grains, which according to Nosler was the most accurate (H1000) I guess just not my gun because...
Anyone have any suggestions for the jump range for these bullets in a 300 win mag? I saw that for regular accubonds they were saying .100 to the lands. I'm using H1000 with these. So far i have not found great accuracy.

What are your guys opinions of these primers? I usually use Federal GM215m but they are scared and I've decided to try other primers and look for a good load with them. This will be in my 300WM with either 180 AB or 210 ABLR?

So I got rid of my 300 RUM a few years ago and ended up with a 300 Win Mag because of cost of the brass cases for the RUM. Go looking for 300 Win Mag cases (Nosler) and they are $10 more than the 300 RUM. What the heck is that all about? Not complaining so to say, just don't get it. No...
Do these bullets require a special stem for seating? My hornady dies are leaving a very bad ring and indentation near the top of the bullet (300 wm).

If you had to choose between RL 22 and RL 26 behind a Nosler 180 AB in a 300 Win Mag which one would you choose and why? I have both and I'm having a debate on which to try for my 300 WM when it gets here. I also have some H1000 but Nolser does not list that powder and bullet weight combo...
I had posted a few weeks ago about pressure issues in my 7mag. Thought I had it figured out but went to the range today and first shot, not even a hot load stuck my bolt closed, blew the primer. All my pressure problems started when I changed lots of RL22, which I thought was my problem but I...
So I have some questions about pressure. I had some loads of RL22 in my 7mmrm that I thought was a bad batch of powder, but it turns out I'm an idiot. Thought I would get that out of the way. I found this out when I loaded some new loads with a different brand powder and on the beginning load...
I'm loading for my Savage 7 Mag. Using 160 accubonds, Fed G215M primers, winchester brass, and Accurate RL 22 at 66 grains. Got this load a while ago never had issues, accurate as all get go. Ran out of that lot of powder then my problems started.
New lot and I was blowing primers on brand...
What in the world is with the 7mm Rem Mag brass? I can't find any anywhere. I happened across some at a local store for the first time in over 6 months. All they had was premium Hornady brass which was $70 for fifty rounds, ouch. What gives?

So went to the range today to shoot my Savage 111 in 7mm RM, load was 160 accubond, winchester brass and federal GM215 M primers. This was at 200 yards, last group of the day, had let it cool completely before just trying to verify my 200 yard zero. Believe or not this is 3 shots. The shot...
I have a friend that is trying to resize 308 to 7-08, and they keep getting stuck in his die. Getting stuck when when the deprimming punch is on the way out. Any ideas what is causing that? Lack of lube inside the neck area?
Corey
I was getting down to the last bit of RL22 I had from my original 4 lb keg (not enough for practice and hunting season anyway), so I broke into the new RL22. Now I dropped the charge down almost 10%, my other load was 66 grains I dropped to 60 grains to start with.
60 and 61 both seemed fine...
