Has anyone used the RL26 / 180 grain bullets for the 300 Win Mag? What speed and accuracy have you resulted with?
My last loads was the 200 ELD-X with RL26 and speed was around 3080 fps. I just did not like the performance with the ELD-X on bone. I like to try the 180 Accubonds, just did not have the time to test them yet.

180 AccuBond for my .300 wm is one of my favorites! I get 3050 fps using 69.5 grains of IMR 4350. I also love the original trophy bonded bear claw 180 and 200 loaded over rl-22
Reloder 25 is supposed to be the ticket for the .300 but rl 22 was better in my rifle. I’m certain there are some pictures in the bullet test section from maybe 5 years ago ish.

78 grs R26 with 180 GK at 3125 fps. 24” barrel and very accurate.

Work your rifle up; this is a maximum/hot load in my Rem 700. (Plus AB has a longer bearing surface than GK; thus more pressure!)

We use H4350 with 200 AB's in my brothers 300 Win with 200 AB's for 2975 FPS and the old Goat runs H4350 with PT's. I don't think you can go wrong with the 26 if it shoots.

Did you ever give any details on the 200 ELD Mark? Just wondering what you saw you didn't like.

Thanks Scotty , I pasted this thread of when I harvested two cow nilgai a few months ago with the ELD-X in the 300 Win Mag.
Soon I'll run some 180 AB and RL 26 through the tube, house remodeling got my hands full. I remembered running the 180 AB and 74.4 grains of RL 22 at a nice speed of 3,165 fps, I had hit pressure at 3260 fps. Backed off from around 76 grains if I could remember. Almost out of RL 22, decided to try the RL 26, got about a pound and a half.
The speed I used with RL 26 and the 200 ELD-X was insane at 3125 fps when I stopped shooting, did not see pressure at all, but the speed scared me a little on the bench. Settled on 3080 fps.
