Thoughts on the Ruger LCP .380

Charlie, took my wife out for a shooting session yesterday and she shot both the GP100 and my P938. I think you can pretty well guess which one made her smile. The weight and trigger pull on the Ruger is a bit difficult for her but, unfortunately for me the 938 with the extended magazine fits her hand perfectly. I see something bad happening here.

It appears that you may soon lose your Sig but think of that as a good thing! Wives starting to shoot regularly can't hurt? I can't get my wife anywhere near a range or a gun.

I carried an LCP for a while when I first got my CCP then picked up a Kahr CM9. Nothing at all wrong with the LCP and I never had not one single issue with it feeding or shooting. My wife carries it now and I just recently purchased my daughter a pink LCP for her birthday. They both shoot them very well and handle the recoil with no issues. I put a handall jr grip sleeve on both pistols which makes the grip a little more beefy and just feels better in the hand. Mike
