remington 770 stock

posting for a disabled friend of mine. his son broke his remington model 770 stock. 270 caliber. anyone know where we can find one? he is on a limited income. thanks

Only Remington sells them new, and on Gunbroker they're $100 plus shipping as well.

Since you can buy a new rifle with scope for $199 on Gunbroker it doesn't make too much sense to pay $100 for a stock by itself. However, if he's not in a hurry I would watch GB and ebay for one to pop up.

i agree, he went cheap for a gun for a rowdy country kid. oh well ebay had one that went for 55 didn't wanna spend that much. oh well see what happens.
