Got some stuff loaded for tomorrow.
444 marlin with

265 Hornady
270 Speer
300 Speer
and 300 sierra Sp

45-70
300 Speer HP
300 Barnes TSX HP
350 Hornady FP

458 Lott

350 TSX
and 350 Speer SP

we will see unless my retina detaches! :mrgreen:

You should shoot 100/200 yds. I shot the 416 Wby yesterday, got a 200 yd zero with the 350 gr Speer Mag Tips and then shot a couple at 300 yds. Man does that bullet make a whump when it hits the OSB target backer. :)

It does sound as if you have a great day planned. It should be most interesting to see your results. Certainly, initial testing will likely be at 100 yards; however, you should be able to tell quite a bit by punching some two hundred yard paper.

I do agree that it will be fascinating to see what happens with the 45-70 and the 444 at 200 yards. Perhaps it would be more realistic to set targets at 150 yards. Still, it would be fun to stretch the legs of those particular cartridges.
