I'd say that BL-C(2) is a bit fast, but RL 22 and IMR 4831 should be excellent powders for the 180 grain BT. You'll see them listed on the data sheet.

I've had good results in the .300 Win mag with both RL-22 and IMR4831 (as well as H4831). The 180 gr Ballistic Tip is an excellent choice for that cartridge.

The magic load for 3-4 300 Win Mags with 180 gr bullets is 75.0 grs RL22. Shoots well under MAO.

I load 165 gr. and 180 gr. in my .300 Win. Browning Abolt. The only powder I'll use for those weights is IMR 4350. I've been loading the 300 win since '97 and have tried other powders but IMR 4350 works best for me. Both bullets are 1/2 MOA groups.
The only powder I've had problems with is IMR 4831. Pressures were very erratic in several calibers. It may have been a bad batch but I won't try it again.

I just recently came to the Nosler side and have gone up to the 200 grain PT's. I am just loading up some rounds to start the ladder tests in a few weeks here. I will be using H4831SC.
I had done some tests before however had to readjust a bunch of things and since have lost the sweet spot, hence the reason for more testing. When I had done the previous testing, I was really happy with the results and how the rifle shot. Nice recoil with the added benefit of 200 grain pills in predator country here.

I'd like to ask a favor if you don't mind doing while working up your load. Could you fill up a case to the top with the powder that you chose to load for and let me know what that weight is?
I've had a rather interesting discussion with an older gentleman and would like some data outside of my own loads to see if what he said has any truth. I'm very sorry for not explaining it, but I don't want to quite yet, as a thread that I started on another forum was deleted by the moderators. Even though, as my loads have shown, we do it without knowing while we develop our charges in the traditional and safe manner that we've been taught.

No one has mentioned RL26 and I know it's not readily available but I squirreled away 2Lbs. when it was available and I'm having great luck with both the 180 grain pro hunter and the Federal TBT. Velocity is just a bit over 3140FPS with 74.7 grains. Accuracy is 1 1/4 at 200 yards so no complaints there. I realize he's working with RL22 and 4831 but RL26 is nice food for thought.
Well it helps "me" when I finally get around the trying 180s in mine! 
I too have some R26 put aside ( you should see what it does with the 160PT in a .270!) You don't see too many powders that will push a 180 past 3100 in a 24" 300WM! Now, 20yrs ago, with the Barnes 180 xbt and "that Lot" of R22 we used 76gr for right at 3100fps.
