7RM/139 Hornady SST

Had the opportunity to shoot a Hornady 139Grain SST into the jugs recently. It did make it into the 4th jug. Did not Chrono the load. Draw your own conclusions. recovered weight 60.2grains (with separated core). 43% weight retained.

Out of the 7 RM, that little SST had to have been near or above optimum impact velocity. Not bad for such a torture test.

Pretty cool test Dano.. Looks like it would be deadly on deer, that's for certain. Really didn't do too bad at 7 mag speeds.. 4 jugs is a solid deer killer in my book..

I agree with the others, good deer killer.
