Couple of new levers

I love that 1895... but wow, scrape that scope off that '94! Looks like an unsightly growth! LOL.

Very nice!
Enjoy your time with them. They are beautiful.

Very nice! I've been on a lever kick lately too. What caliber is the 94? I would love to find a 94 in 44 or 45.

Really enjoy those pistol caliber carbine. Handy and fun!

The '94 is in .357 Magnum. Wanted one to match my Ruger Blackhawk and simplify reloading. Don't worry, the scope did not come with it ;)

I got some 405gr FN cast along with Starline brass for the '95 and might start with 48-50grs of Varget.

With the '94, I got some 158gr SWC and Starline brass as well. Not sure what powder to try first. Maybe Titegroup?

52gr of h322 with starline brass has shot great in my Marlins. These are 100yd groups with 405 rem JSP they run right at 1900fps

My dad has a 94 in 357 that has killed a boatload of deer with 158 gr speer JSP @ 1750fps. There was no better rigle for still hunting standing corn! I'll see if I can gets my dads load for you.

I'd like to get the 44 or 45 just because Alaskan critters are a touch bigger than deer. I've seen the 357 on deer, very effective out to 100 yards maybe a touch more. Dad killed one at 130 yards one year, but most have been from 10-70 yards.

Leverguns, especially Marlins, are very cool.

Nice. Thanks for sharing, and I'm looking forward to the range reports!

TheBear_78 is running the kind of .45/70 load I LIKE! (y)
