I recovered 1 in a moose about 8 years ago. it was in the offside shoulder. it was a perfect mushroom. it passed though 3 feet of moose. I hit him on the last rib quartering away and it went diagonally through him.

several moose and 10+ elk, nothing walks away from the 338 rum and a 250 partition at 3050fps.

2022 elk, 450 yards with the 338 rum and a 250 grain partition. 15 seconds range shoot happy dance, and 7 hours later it was packed out.

I went to the range today and shot 57.5 and 58 grains of 4831sc. 57.5 was just about 1.2 and 58 was 1 inch with two touching. I can't remember if you measure from the inside or the outside. I am going to play with the seating depth a little and see if they close up. a little wind and snow so...
