Biden wants to restrict ammo sales to civilians

He plans to issue an executive order barring Lake City (supplier of about 30% of 5.56 ammo to American civilians) from selling on the civilian market.

And we are surprised at this move?😠 The government of the United States appears to be only slightly behind the progress of the Liberal government of Canada in disarming the populace. But no one should worry, because the government agencies will always protect you when there is a need.

Seriously, anyone who would vote for a Democrat or a Republican who has a track record of compromising in order to be reasonable has no reason to complain when government acts in this manner. In Canada, no one who votes for a Liberal, an NDP, a Green, a Bloc, or a compromising Conservative should ever feign surprise when they move to disarm the populace.

These are seriously dark times for freedom loving people.

I hope people will somehow come to hate this man enough to actually take action against him for his criminal behavior, but in ignorance, they ignore what is important and focus on the trivial. Not surprised, but filled with a righteous anger none the less.

It seems they will attempt to use all the sensational stories about people being killed by AR rifles to say that we shouldn't be able to get ammunition for them. The fact that he is even targeting a specific round or rifle with these kinds of policies just demonstrates how uneducated any attempt at restricting arms by the government is. ARs are not the only semi-autos, and 5.56 is not the only thing they shoot. But these are the things they can hype to people because ARs "are scary." Gun laws revolve around what they can make look scary to a uneducated population. That is how silencers got regulated, because Maxim used the term as a marketing pitch, the government was able to convince people it actually made guns silent.

Well.
It is not the gun that kills.
But looking at it from an ocean apart:
What is your opinion? Why do you have so many gun-kills?
Switzerland for example gives every man an assault rifle after service.
They have it open on their backs in busses.

Little happens there.
What is different in the USA?
I mean - it is in the press every other week.
Schools, Kindergarden, Church lastly.
I was in Chicago two weeks ago and there were shootings two blocks away. Downtown.

What is it in the USA, that you have so many gun incidents?

The big issues, which government does not wish to address, are one-parent families without a father to teach responsibility, surrender of our children's moral development to government and to the teachers' unions, a loss of moral rectitude in society because the churches have transitioned to social institutions rather than daring to stand for righteousness. We have raised a couple of generations in which young men have been trained to be brutes rather than protectors and young women have been trained to believe that giving away their virtue is the path to happiness. While the United States and Canada still raises fine young men and women, there is a significant percentage that have been deprived of the basics of civil society. Wherever there is a vacuum in society, someone is certain to attempt to fill that vacuum. In this case, a loss of family life, created by government largess training generations to depend on government as the father, has led to government becoming the rescuer.

This is strictly a rumor but falls in line with the above. As you know Winchester and ATK just got another huge government contract for ammo and now it's rumored ATK may just quit selling primers to the public. I sure hope there ain't no sand to that one.

The White House was asked about this and they are totally denying it. They got caught with their hand in the cookie jar and now all of a sudden they know nothing.
