I'm wondering if anyone is using any of the Accurate powders?
The reason I ask is the availability. I use 2520 in a 22-250 load and I'm going to attempt to work up a load in a No.1a 243 with 65 grain V Max bullets using Accurate 4064.
I've seen their powders and also Western brand at the...
I saw an old post where you recommended an ATN night scope.
I'm looking to get into the night life . The last time I looked through a night vision it was 1968/69 in Vietnam. Was called a "Starlight Scope" Big, bulky and real heavy. I guess things have improved in the last 55 years!!
Yes, I have thought about having one made, but the Ruger Single Six is a pretty common western style pistol,
and I thought someone may have one laying around. Maybe the 6 1/2" barrel is not ordinary?
Thank you for your prompt response.
As I stated I bought a bunch of those Nosler 52 grainers, so I'd like to get some nice groups. Thought maybe this powder would work.
Over on Accurate Shooter the fellows seemed to think pressures went up fast with it. I always start low, not really a...
I picked up a pound of AA2460 today and I'm wondering if anyone has or is using it with favorable results? Got a bunch of Nosler 52 grain HPBT Custom Competition blems I would like to use it with. Will be using a Ruger No.1V or Remington VLS both 14 twist tubes.
Thank you in advance...
Is anyone using the Nosler .224-52 grain Competition bullets in a .22-250 Remington?
I've got a 700 VLS and a Ruger No.1 I was thinking of trying them since SPS had blems on sale.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Thank you all for your kind replies.
he is willing to sell it to me I'm going to put a Leupold on it. Most likely a 5HD.
Please keep up the replies?
Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Prosperous and Happy New Year.
You have restored my faith!!!!!
I'm not the only nut that likes to hunt with a classic single shot.
I've got a 1a.243-1V .22-250 and an RSI in .243.
I finally got a load after much testing of different bullets and powder combinations to shoot sub MOA .
I'm using a 65 grain V Max...
I've been shooting a friends 700- 22-250 VLS. IT is a tack driver. Is the rifle you're shooting what replaced the VLS? if it is you will get some very accurate loads. My question is, the VLS is heavy with a 26" barrel, do you hunt coyotes with yours and how heavy and length of barrel...
I shot the rifle last week with some 50 grain ballistic Tips over IMR 4895. First 3 shots, benched at 100 yards, cloverleafed! The next 2 had some operator error and the group was still only 3/4". What I would like to know has / does anyone have a spot where they stay and shoot coyotes...
