A couple of you tubers had really good results in a Model 70 with Magpro. I've had really good luck with Magpro in both 140 and 150 G Accubonds so I think I might start there.

I searched but couldn't find any data. Could someone run a quickload for 165 ABLR in 270 WSM with Magpro and H4831SC? Just got some in and wanted to see if my ABolt will stabilize them. I'm open to other powders also-I finally have a pretty good selection. TIA.

Hit the jackpot today. Went with a buddy to pick up his gun from gunsmith and they had Winchester Large Rifle primers for $69/brick. I bought 2. To top it off, they had Nosler Accubonds in 30 caliber 180G for $49/box. I thought that was pretty fair in today's high prices.

Thanks for the helpful replies. On my load development, they were all seated the same length so next time I will use the same brass and just try different primers. I will report back with my results but it won't be for a couple weeks. I appreciate all knowledgeable guys on this forum.

Gerry, I know so people don't like Magpro but my 270WSM really likes it and I guess that's all that matters. Try some in the 6.8 Western, I think you will like it.

Thanks Dr Mike. I was surprised in that my 270WSM was really easy to find to work up a load with very good accuracy with the 150AB. I will try some standard primers when I tweak my loads.

Ok.. Thanks for the replies. In regards to hotter primers: can someone rank the magnum primers from slow to fast, etc? I have all the major brands of primers so I could experiment but i don't know where the 9 1/2 M compares to the WLRM and 215M. Once again TIA.

Joec: Funny you mention 4831. I'm using H4831SC. I know lot's of people say to use RL17, 19,22 and I have a pretty good load with RL17 but my Browning really likes H4831SC.

Getting my gun back soon from the gunsmith and want to work up some loads with 150G Partitions and Accubonds. I've got some for 130 and 140 g but haven't tried 150G yet. I have a pretty good assortment of powders and primers so any recommendations would be appreciated.
