brass flows forward . the brass thins near the case head , and we trim it off the neck . eventually the thicker shoulder brass becomes neck brass .

Jer Bear , how you're finding the lands , only works with that exact same bullet . you need to find the lands with every bullet you're loading . lets say you're going to be shooting nosler ballistic tips and partitions , hornday sst's and sierra game kings . you'll need to find the lands...

if these are reloaded , I'd pull them apart . keep the bullets , primers , and brass . if the brass isn't what you use , find it a home . throw the powder in the yard . factory ammo , try to find it a home . with the cost of this stuff I'd hate to just discard it .
