I have one and it's one of the funnest rifles I have. I've shot a couple coyotes with it too and does the trick just fine.

Man it's hard to chose. At some point in the season. I'll tote my 700 ADL 243win, 336 30-30, 1895 45-70, Stainless Featherweight 270win, and 700sps 300wsm. The Featherweight and 1895 will probably see the most field time since I haven't drawn blood with either of them yet.
My wife will be...
I like spot and stalk and rattling them in. I have a hard time sitting still for very long so rattling works as it let's me move around. I've always wanted to try to track one down in the snow but haven't had the opportunity to do so yet.

I'll be using my 700sps 300WSM for deer and elk since I believe my wife has confiscated my Tikka 270Win. I'll be carrying my 700adl 243win for deer also. Marlin 336 30-30 and 1895 45-70 will also see ample field time. I've been in fishing mode all spring and summer but now that the mornings are...
Thanks! They were the biggest Browns I have caught in a long time by far. Usually I'm just catching little 6-10" creek trout. There isn't much that is more fun than ultralight fishing.
Thanks! I agree but now cabin fever is at an all time high. We had temps in the mid 50s and this week we have...
A couple weeks ago, I couldn't take it anymore and had to get out to do some fishing. Also had a new 6'0" Fenwick light action rod I bought with Christmas money that I wanted to try out. I drove about 10 miles west of town to the Flathead River and parked my 4Runner where I could see it since...
This season has been pretty uneventful so far. We have traveled back to Choteau to hunt the first two weekends of the season but didn't make it back this weekend. Wish we could have though, since they get snow and cold temps most of this last week. Better than the 75 degrees we hunted in a...
We just drove through snow for about 100 miles this evening from Lincoln to Choteau this evening. Bears don't always den up even when it's cold. A lot have become smart and now don't den up until after rifle season. Lots of wounded and gut piles to eat. The last few years we have shared our deer...
I totally understand keeping the trash on the outside. Good idea, but the spare on my 4runner is underneath so I guess I'm riding with the trash inside!
