    Idiot? Or Unconscious?

He is an idiot. Shooting high velocity rounds from 25 feet away at an away angle tends to ricochet, he should have followed safety protocols and shoot steel from at least 50 yards or further out straight on, not at an angle. Steel plates are better when angled downward, so the ricochets go...

    High Master Club

FTR and Open, we do 20 shots per match, which is 3 matches in a day once a month. Total is 60 rounds plus sighters. We also do small bore .22 matches as well. Last match I had @ 600 was a 598 out of 600. Only 2 nines out of 3 matches due to wind shift, plus 37 bullseyes and the rest were all...

    High Master Club

Just got a letter from NRA, I was awarded the High Master classification for the 600 yard rifle competitions for the 2024 season. To get High Master, you need to be 98 percentile or higher. Can't be any prouder than that. In 2023 it was Master.

staBALL HD load data for 7mm rem mag

Good hunting load. Federal has soft cups on their primers, possible reason its flat. The CCI has a harder cup. What was your velocity if you have a chronograph available?

    300WM and barrel length

I have 26 inches on my custom 300 WM Rem 700, its a bit on the heavy side with the ATACR 5-25 MOAR reticle, but I like the speed I'm getting out of it, with the 200 grain it approaches 3000- 3080 fps safely and with the 180 its around 3150 -3250 fps depending on type of powders. Like the others...

    150 Grain BT Experience

Was the deer quartered away? I have shot an impala eons ago with a 7 STW using 140 Ballistic Tips at around 3400 + fps from about 80 yards away, it was quartered away and hit on the last rib to angle towards the front of the opposite shoulder, but the bullet blew up on impact and made a mess...

    soil blocking

I plant vegs and herbs twice a year, in the early spring and early fall, right at the end of winter or summer. I also plant some marigolds and zinnas to deter caterpillars and pests to mate with my plants. Been using plastic 3 -4 inch square pots for about 20 years, some seeds would not sprout...

    Swift 210 Scirocco 338 WM 2990FPS

Swift Scirocco are excellent bullets, I have used the 150's in the 7 STW to bag several bull nilgai , all shots have been pass throughs. A few was shot in neck, and others right at the crease of the shoulder when broadside. Very tough bullets, and the A-Frame as well, but never used A Frames on...

    rear vents leaking in Duramax

What a small world, I just did my vent replacements last week. I had the same issue, no need to remove the bed, the Chevrolet body shop said they would need to remove the bed to fix it but its a bunch of BS, so I decided to do it myself, so I removed the rear seat to let the carpet and mat to...
