There is a guy on here that has had great luck with it in his 7mm-08. I screenshot his load info but was never able to buy any big game powder locally.

Great write up and congratulations ! I run the 160gr accubond as well but in my 280ai and am totally impressed with its performance. I am currently in the process of working up a load in my wife's 7mm-08 with a 140gr accubond over reloader 17. I appreciate you sharing your experience!

I am shooting reloader 26 in my 280ai with a 160gr accubond, cci br2, 24 inch barrel, 1:9 twist. No problem getting over 2900fps. I actually never even worked up to pressure. I shot a 0.4 " group with one of my first charge weights and stopped.
Before trying reloader 26 I tried a bunch with...
I was in same place as you two years ago. Berger has some published data I found but with a 168 gr. bullet. I started at 57gr with a 160gr bullet and cci br2 primers. That is in fire formed norma brass. I lots of re 26 and just found more of it traveling fir work. Not sure but might be too slow...
In my 280ai, I am shooting a 160gr accubond at 2920fps with 60.1 gr reloader 26 (at 35 degrees F) and cci br2. I have not worked up to pressure with reloader 26 as this load will do sub-moa if I do my part

I've been thinking the same bullet to replace my hand loaded 180 gr core-lokts. Just haven't been able to find the e-tips

I shoot a 100 gr partition in my 243 which has a 1:10" twist. I use imr 4350 and haven't needed to try anything else.
Prior to shooting partitions I shot core-lokts. I found if i hit a deer in bone of the front shoulder there would be a lot of bloodshot and pretty much a loss of the shoulder. I...
Guy, thanks for the feedback. 375 h&h or 375 ruger? Yes, I may try partitions yet, but I did finally find a good load before hunting season with the 160 accubond. Granted it is only one target, and three shots.

Copy that. I almost went with the partition, but had heard so much good about the accubond I wanted to try it. Funny thing is I was a little leary of the accubond because it was a "new" bullet. I tend to stick with the tried and true components

Growing up I shot both factory and handloaded Core-lokt's in 243 & 30-06. Anytime in hit a front shoulder I would loose a fair amount of meat to bloodshot. I tried to shoot behind the front shoulder to not waste meat, but I found the mountain mule deer I hunt are really tough and so I would...
Not sure when I'll get to the range, but I will post data after shooting . Thanks for reposting . I think I may seen your load posted and noted it I as do remember seeing a load with 220 gr Sierra prohunters. I am saving my reloader 26 for my 280ai, and since reloader 23 didn't work for my 280ai...
You might search for "panhandle precision". There is a website and also a bunch of videos on youtube. He shoots the 260 rem. And it seems like he runs H4350 exclusively . Just a thought
