Our most accurate powder for the .243 Win /55'gr BT has been H414. Starting point 48.5gr with 52.5gr max. As always start low, be safe and good groups.
Brian-
That sounds a bit odd, our bullets are run at +/- .2 of a grain. Please call our customer service when you can and they will make the arrangements to have those bullets examined in house, and replacements sent out to you.

That will help you with the bullets, please remember the 50 cal uses the 44-250, 45-260gr, and the 45-300gr PHG.
JD hit it on the head.
As far as H4350 in your 30-06, we only list IMR in our book. Look at the hodgdon page and pull the H4350 data off and use the starting load and work your way up.
We actually have repositioned our Partition and found that 1800fps is the magic number.
As long as you have enough cushion on the low end you will be fine. I would however suggest if you gun likes them to switch to the 160gr. Just in case that buck of a lifetime is a bit beyond
308 let me take a crack at this one.
For everyones benefit, a bullet in a 1-12" twist barrel will rotate once every 12", 1-10" every 10" and so on whether it is 10 yards from the barrel or 300 yards.
The faster the bullet goes the easier it is to stabilize, it will not however spin any faster...
In a BT or AB in the same weight, the AB has a slightly higher BC, so your point of impact will vary slightly. At 100 yards it will be so slight.
If you post a velocity or a load we can give you a better answer.
Because it is hunting, you can't guarentee a pass-thru
However, I agree with POP you would be better served going with a 180gr in the BT or switching to the AccuBond or Partition. Typically the 150 BT is pushed a bit faster and thus expansion happens at an excellerated rate.
At those ranges and out of that particular cartridge it will work just fine.
Our book max is 45.0grains for Varget.
That is for the 120gr BT out of a 7mm-08.
You will be fine if you shoot the moly bullets. All you need to do is clean your barrel really good before you start shooting them. And if you decide to switch back to uncoated bullets, clean your barrel again, this time with a compound like JB's. Works great, your barrel looks like a jewel...
RL-22 in our barrel will get close.
The barrel is a 24" and we can achieve nearly 2900fps with a compressed load.
That will get ya close with a 22" barrel.
Start: 57.0grains of RL-22
Max: 61.0grains of RL-22
Start with the min load and work your way up.
