If one of the StaBall powders is appropriate for your rifle, what I have seen with StaBall 6.5 is VERY impressive. More velocity and less ES/SD. Highly recommended.
All Reloder powders are suspended for commercial use.
All of Alliant's production is being used for government contracts. Even the OEM companies can't get them, which is why Hornady had their recent 7PRC speed snafu.
I think I'm going to sell a couple of my muzzleloaders as a result. I bought two nice Knights just prior to the rule change, and have no reason to keep them unused here.
I can look tonight when I get home, but I believe it's a TC Contender, 35 Rem, Pachmayr stocks.
I picked it up several years ago because I have 35 Rem in a few Marlin 336s, but I have never shot it or scoped it.
I have a bit left from when it was reasonably priced. However, MI went to "any legal weapon" season rather than MZ-only, so my reason to use it stopped. I haven't even loaded my muzzleloaders in several years.
As there are not many deer on our property, I have learned to only buy the cell cameras with a free plan option.
I have been VERY happy with the Wildgame Innovations cameras.
Dad wanted to lighten up his Wby Vanguard 270 Win rifle, so I purchased one of the carbon fiber "Classic Hunter" design stocks, and painted it up for him.
My thoughts -
I wish it had a better recoil pad.
It does NOT manage recoil for a 270 Win as nicely as the Peak 44 stock does on a titanium...
Nice.
No brake or MagNaPort, correct?
The stock appears to be in relatively nice condition. The paint on them gives the stock a nice grip but seems to mar easily.
I would say at least $900, but you might get a bit more based on the condition.
Wow. Well done.
Given the continued marked decrease in antelope tags we decided not to donate to Wyoming Game & Fish this year until it's time to buy points.
I'm jealous of those who drew, as it's one of my favorite hunts.
42.7 grains of LVR, Winchester Super X cases.
I looked over my load development targets, and it was obvious which was best. The groups shrunk as I increased to 42.7, and increased beyond it.
0.3 grain change weight changes between loads.
The nice thing about LVR is that you really can’t stuff...
