CCI Standard Velocity shoots AMAZINGLY in my Model 52 Winchester. I use the CCI High Velocity 40 grain roundnose in my High Standard Sport King, it is accurate and functions well.

Never have used them but have heard VERY good things. One guy with a .30-06, the other with a .300 WSM, both using that same 165 grain TBT.

With brand new brass, I will wear cotton gloves to keep from staining them with bullet lube greasy fingerprints. Then I was my hands with soap and water afterwards like always. Like others have said, the latex (or vinyl, nitrile, etc.) gloves get rather sweaty if worn for a long time.

Does anyone have any experience with audio to text transcription technology? I would like to buy or download software that enables me to take voice notes and transcribe them verbatim to a word document. I would also like to be able to write via speaking into a microphone on my computer. Thanks...

Good luck sitting on your hands. I simply don’t have the fortitude. I have owned several Ruger M77 rifles but the only Hawkeye of the bunch is my current .22-250 and it shoots great. For $500, I don’t think you could go wrong.
