    30-06 O.A.C.L.’s

@nosler06: Not sure if you know how to check your rifle for where the lands are or not? But a easy way is to load them long with new brass and drop them down the chamber, and see it they will fall out on their own when you tip up the muzzle? If they're way too long the bolt won't even close...

    .22 Vudoo just came in

Zero, and why I don’t bother using it unless my French Bulldog is with me. He’s a good hunter for a 15 month old dog. That said I would never shoot anything with him next to me. He has a great nose, and his hearing is crucial for voice commands. I didn’t see any difference in velocity w/wo...

    .22 Vudoo just came in

I’m not sure if I have a 20 moa Picatinny base or a 30 moa, but I’m using a 7-35 ATACTR F1 that has a lot of elevation and allows me to focuses on targets at 25 yards. It’s an older scope that I bought when they first came out. I had a few issues with it before owning this gun, and since it’s...

    .22 Vudoo just came in

Here’s my Vudoo .22 LR on stage 4 at my place that has six targets from 121-320 yards. Edit note: I never use the suppressor unless my dog is with me.

Let's see those long-range hunting rifles!

Here’s how I practice most of the time since it’s unsupported rear and how most shots are taken in a field match, or maybe while hunting and shooting off a tripod with the same bag on top, a log or rock. 280 AI FMR 160 Nosler BT up 1.3 mils/370 yards as shown in the photo. Since I don’t have...

    .22 Vudoo just came in

I chronograph the two and neither stuck out as a better choice, as well as some RWS Match. So I just started shooing the LR SK ammunition here at my home range and the stuff really started to shine at long distances. So I stuck with using it for the serious stuff when I was competing against...

    New MS Rifle

Very cool to hear about your new experiences with your retirement and the country side! Especially finding such a neat rifle! Decades ago I had a rifle built by Dave Tooley in a 7mm BooBoo! A 6.5x68 necked up and blown out slightly. I bought it used and eventually sold it due to the...

    .22 Vudoo just came in

These are IMO the finest shooting .22’s out of the box out there. But yes, they are custom made and will put a smile on your face that seems to never go away when you’re shooting one! I had Mike make me one back in 2018 in a McMillan M40A1 stock with a 20” Bartlein Kukri contour using a TT...

Let's see those long-range hunting rifles!

Not sure which I'm loving to see more of.... The SAKO or the Deer head it's holding up! That's a super heavy Rack! I always loved my SAKO AV, but I ended up selling it 20 years ago to a friend I traded tile work for along w/a Winchester 70 264 Mag. for his wife.

    Tac in 7mm08

Twenty years ago I developed a super accurate load w/the 160 AB and H414(W760). It wasn't temp stable, but I shot lights out to 600 yards.

    Good bye

I’d ask yourself what brought you here in the first place, and stay for that reason!?! I hate politics, I don’t trust politicians, I don’t believe that the Government should be allowed to be involved in everything…. It’s The most wasteful use of money, resources and time that was ever put on...

An experiment-Reading Primers - with a friends rifle

It really has to do with the type of primer you Test..... Standard CCI's will creator easy vs 41's, 34's and BR2/4's, F210M, F215M. Same for Remington 7 1/2, vs F205M. Same loads but each primer will tell a "Odd Ball Tale" when really that's not what to look for.... speed = pressure. Stay...

You could reach out to Kenny or Jay and ask them what are the top five or ten loads for that cartridge. The have files on every load ever made all cataloged on a data base now vs the 3"x5" cards that everything went on in the reloading room.

    Federal 215

Completely normal for more years than I care to say.... Way back I called them up to ask and was told nothing to worry about.... That's normal when it is running out before being refilled.
