Dr Vette,
I have a good supply of RL 25 so did not consider RL 26, but I would think it work work about the same. The Weatherby Factory 160 AB's shot about 1" in my rifle and I have been able to slightly better that with my handloads. MY VVN160, 67.0 gr, 3100 fps load shoots about 3/4 inch...
Scotty,
I just finished firing my test loads and was again disappointed with the ABLR's. Again I was trying to duplicate loads listed in the Nosler manual as "most accurate" and shooting them thru a Weatherby 7mm Wea Mag Accumark. Here is what I shot:
1 - 76.0 gr Retumbo, 150 gr ABLR, 3.360"...
Scotty,
rifle has a Weatherby chamber. It was a Mark V originally that I sent back to Weatherby for a conversion to Accumark after the accuracy of my original barrel fell off to below what I was happy with. I went ahead and loaded the 168 gr ABLR with 74 and 76 gr Retumbo and will report back...
Scotty,

Thanks. In Louisiana I am not at all worried about cold weather changes and try to work up my loads in the summer heat of 80-100 deg. Right now it is 80-90 deg each day. Today I reshot my 45.0 gr load at 2.826" and got .860" group, basically the same as the .740" group I got earlier. However...
Guys,
I recently bought a Savage BA 10 Stealth in 6.5 Creedmoor and have started my load development. I know that H4350 is "THE" powder for 6.5 CM but finding it is another problem. I happen to have a very good supply of VV N160 so decided to try and work up a good load using it and see what...
I would appreciate if someone could run a QL on 6.5 Creedmoor, VVN 160 powder, 24" barrel, Hornady brass and 140 gr Nosler RDF bullets.
Thanks
