    Advertised as 12 miles but keeping drone in line of sight is a requirement so not realistic. Battery life would probably limit that. Will get a warning if connection with the controller starts to weaken. If disconnected or battery gets low it will automatically return to and land at the launch...

    Finally able to get to the beach after Summer steelhead. The beach is two miles from home so no real excuse for not going more often. In order to access the beach we have to enter through the paper mill where I used to work. Only present and former employees are allowed to enter so not unusual...

    FWIW I had a bunch of Ballistic Tip bullets years ago that for some reason a lot of the tips were broken. I didn’t notice any difference in how they grouped (hovering around 1” at 100 yards) but not sure how it would affect performance upon contact.

    Bobcats on the Ridge

    This one is more about the audio. I captured a few images of the bobcats on the ridge camera. The one in the last pic went off camera before the video recording started and began making a lot of noise. I’d never heard one before.

    Portable winch

    Portable winches come in handy out in the field to help move downed animals but I actually use mine quite a bit in the woodlot on the homestead.
