Most of my stuff is limited by mag length but I typically start at .005" off but most of my stuff usually shoots best from .025" - way the hell off " the lands.
I don't crimp semi-auto rifles either.
I loaded a round for my AR and fed it from the mag 10 times and then checked OAL and concentricity and both were the same as when I loaded it.
I really like Nosler bullets but I am usually 100fps and usually closer to 200fps behind their numbers. I would love to have their magic barrels though.
Mine did it with 1x fired brass and my primer pockets were fine.
Winchester has never returned any call or email that I have sent their way about the primers I had.
If I'm going for steel or paper I load groups of 50 - 100 of a proven load. For hunting loads I only load groups of 20, that gives me a few to check zero with and then some to hunt with.
