I'm running H4831 (not sc) in my 280AI with 140AB at 3200fps, and getting 1/2 MOA.
Tried the 168CC and 168ABLR and they only want to shoot MOA

Yessir, that grin would light up the night. She was concerned, no doubt, Saturday night. I kept telling her "don't worry, he is dead. I watched the bullet hit. We just have to give him time."
When we received the "found him" text on Sunday morning, the grin was priceless.
Update!
Last season, she didn't see anything worthy of a bullet. So it was a long off-season in anticipation of drawing blood.
We went to Missouri for the youth hunt last weekend, and got the job done. Watched a heart-stopper size buck get away from us. Then she got a chance at a good size...
My dad got into PCPs this summer. Recharge with a scuba tank or smaller paintball size tank. Get 150-200 shots per charge around 800fps. They are spooky accurate, and great trigger practice.
He has the KalibrGun Cricket bullpup 22cal. I head-shot a eurasian collered dove we lasered at...
Very nice!
I built a 26" McGowen barreled Rem700 in 280AI a couple years ago. It shoots the 140AB like a dream. Tried the 168 ABLR and it was so-so.
Thinking about working up a 160AB for elk next year -- if my hunting pardner can make his mind up to go. ;-)

I looked all over for comparisons, and best I can gather is that it is somewhere between RL19 and RL22. It's been on the market for a few years, but there is not much talk or data.
With powder so scarce, I rolled the dice with this one since Gene Sears supply in El Reno, OK has about 600lbs in...
A couple of months ago, I went in search of a load for my Dad's .264mag after doing some barrel work to get rid of an excessive headspace problem.
I had tried the usual suspect powders, but nothing wanted to shoot. Dad was determined on shooting the 120gr Sierra flat base bullets.
I posted on...
No worries, he has piled up the whitetails the last 20 years with it. But ran out of the lot of IMR-4831, so I'm in search of a replacement. I'm also going to test a 130AB, or 129 ABLR if I can ever find them in stock.
I was hoping for a load with Alliant Power Pro 4000-MR, but looks like QL doesn't have a workup yet.
Pity, as I have access to it - and Alliant shows data for 7mag and 300mag.
Could someone run a QL on the 264mag for me, with a 120gr Sierra SPT ProHunter (#1720)
I had some work done on my Dad's rifle, and I know there are better bullet choices, but that's his darling so I'm going to do a load workup.
Thanks!

Thanks, fellas. We didn't connect, but one of our buddies smoked an auodad with his 6.5x47 Lapua at a record breaking distance of 20 yards, with a 130gr Berger VLDH!
That 168 ABLR in my 280AI is running 59.0 gr H4831 (not SC) at 2950fps. Next time . . . :)
Good article. The penetration and expansion at distance is impressive.
Me and HTDUCK are leaving this afternoon for one last chance at a cull buck or auodad. I have my 280AI dialed-in with the 168gr ABLR at 2950fps. Hopefully there will be a test subject downrange. :)
Love it! I like a little character, and that Mohawk action is just goofy enough to pull it off!
Guy - that's a nice Sako. I was wondering how small a barrel contour you can go and still have it fluted. The folks at McGowen have been very helpful in the barrels I've gotten from them - I...
