That is a beautiful piece of work right there! I used to shoot IHMSA (thus my handle) and when I retired, I sent my .30-30 barrel to SSK Industries. Now it is a .309JDJ and a deer hammer. J.D. Jones and P.O. Ackley have a special place in my heart. :)

I have a 22" Shilen barrel on my Mauser 98 in .25-06. Last weekend I finally had a chance to chrono the loads. 115gr Berger Hunting VLD at 2950fps.

I've taken 2 deer and my son has taken 1 with my 270 and 130ABs. And the results were similar, just devastating. Love those ABs!

Woohoo! Blind hog/acorn syndrome -- I scored a couple bags for a change. My 280AI likes the 140AB and 168CCs so well, I can't wait to see what these will do. :grin:

Tim, I pulled parts of a post I made from earlier in the year with data, pics, etc. My rifle really likes the 140AB and the 168 Custom Competitions with H4831. The results were so good that I stopped working with RL22. Haven't tried the 160AB or 168ABLR yet. I ran a 500yd ladder test...
