For me it’s a question of good vs. better. I did a primer test in two 7mm-08 rifles. Same load (Big Game with 120 BT), each rifle had 3 rounds of CCI200 and WLRM, so four three-shot groups total. Each shot was chronographed as well. The WLRM gave me close to 75 more fps and slightly tighter...

I’ll always have at least one .30-06, currently have three, but I find I reach more for the 7mm-08 for deer and elk.

Reloader 26 is the bee’s knees for me with 160 gr AB or PT and 162 eldx.

Work up to it: 140 AB 47.5 gr Big Game Winchester Large Rifle Magnum primer P

The big bull was a single 140 AB at 225 yards, 2850 mv. The other two were single 140 Partitions at 68 yards (4x4) and 346 yards (spike). Partitions are 2890 mv. Stainless Tikkas. The Mighty-08 is plenty for elk. P

I check at least twice per day. No way I’m missing anything.

So if Nosler is running at max capacity, where are all the blems? I’m used to seeing a lot more at SPS than I’ve seen in a long time. Are they making fewer mistakes? I need 50 gr BT Varmint for my .223, and 160 AB for the 7mm Rem Mag!

We went 4 for 4 on bucks this year, all 150 eldx from 7mm-08.

I hear that BG is great in the 30-06 for 150 grain bullets.

Never tried it in anything but the Mighty -08. I’m the BG guy for the 7mm-08. I’ve had phenomenal success with it. P
