They do. They just call them the Combined Technologies. You can catch them as 2nds once in awhile. Agreed on the greatness of them.

I’ve used a bunch of Speers over the years. Most recently the 180 FN in my TC 35 REM pistol and the 200 grain Spitzer in my 338 Federal. They work great in my opinion and the price is right on them.
I’d go 7.5 minimum myself and knowing me, I’d do a 7. Chances are it will still shoot 100 BTs great and it’ll open doors to about anything coming out you may wanna try. I’ve not found a problem with too much twist myself and probably overdo it but honestly I can’t see where it’s ever hurt me...
I’ve done well in my Mashburn and 6.5 PRC and one 270 Win shot the 150 ABLR real well but I agree, they’re fussy. I’ve done well and learned every typically like more hop into the rifling and when they shoot, they really shoot well. No complaints from point blank out to 600+ on elk and deer. In...
That 338 Fed Mike built is a great one. Glad it’s going buffalo hunting. That little 338 Fed is really an excellent cartridge and fun to shoot as well.
I start them at .050 off the lands and work back in .025 increments to find where they wanna shoot. For me, near the lands and a thou here and there were waste of bullets. Once I backed them off, I may require a couple thou to really tune, but usually it has not been necessary. They're an...
Midway has RL23 which after using them both, 23 is a very stable and seems H4831 in temp stability. A few feet a second won’t change much and it’s usually very accurate.
Retumbo and the 200 AB in a 300 RUM is a match made in heaven. Somewhere between 92-96 grains depending on gun, cases, etc. it will absolutely knock down 3200 in a 26” barrel and is usually very accurate.
That is beyond cool Mike. All them boys are kicking butt in today’s world which is no small feat! Congrats on being a part of their lives and helping shape them.
I used to use the cream of wheat method using bullseye for the Mashburn. I found it way easier to shoot 50 rounds of a normal loaf and have perfect cases when I was done. Minimal throat wear and the load I used was completely elk capable if I wanted.
I’d just pick a 338-06 load, near the top...
I’d agree with WV, different components and a different lot of powder can account for a lot. If it’s shoots well I’d say you’re in good shape. 17 is one of my favorite powders for quite a lot of cartridges. Too bad it’s so hard to come by these days.
I’m not sure you could get into pressure trouble with RL22 and the 30-06 myself.
Remember 30-06 data is capped around 60k PSI so if you’re seeing a bit faster speeds but cases, primers, extraction, etc are good you’re likely in good shape,
2900 with a 180 is solid 300 mag territory and...
