? Best 160 accubond Load Data for 7mm rem mag

    I also like RL22 & IMR7828 is very good w/ 160gr.

Best Factory Ammo for Short Barreled 45 ACP?

If the round starts faster, it ends up faster, no matter the bbl. length. You may get a lot more muzzle blast & flash though. I like the faster 185gr-200gr bullets in my OM. They still make 900fps from the shorter tube w/o the blast & recoil the smaller pistols can deliver.

    Is 3150 fps too much for a .270 140 B-Tip ??

I feel the NBT is at it's best when impact vel. is @ 2700fps or less. If yuo are sure your shots are going to be over 300, you should be ok. I would probably move to the NAB in your WSM. My last antelope was shot @ about 120yds using a 7mmDakota. I use the 160gr NP, planned for 400yd shot & just...

Need help for .280 Antelope load

I can't think of a better replacement for anyones shotout .270 than a .280ai, go for it. I would use at elast a 23"bbl. if you are on the tall side, go 25" for a bit extra perf.

    Partitions or Accubonds for Antelope?

You should be fine w/ the NAB. I have found they retain about the same weight as the NP & expand a bit more but penetrate a bit less. I took my last antelope w/ a 160grNP @ 3250fps from my 7mmDakota. The range was a bit over 100yds & the round was thru the shoulder. Bang, flop & you could eat up...

    Load for 338-06 200 BT 225gr and 250gr.

Welcome to the .338-06 club! I built mine several years & several dozen animals ago. I love this round for general NA hunting & it's performed wonderfully in Africa for me too. The 210grNP seems just about made for this round. You can push it along @ 2750fps w/o bending anything & it kills very...

Need help for .280 Antelope load

Guys, FWIW, if I had a perfectly good .280, which I do, I wouldn't bother rechambering to .280AI. You probably have a 22" bbl. so your perf. gain will be minimal, plus the extra cost of dies & the rechambering just doesn't pencil out. Now if you have a shot out .270 or such & want to rebarrel...

    For the Nosler guys

Maybe not ms, the R&D has already been done on the bonding process. I would think they could bring them in under the Swift. Drop the CTPG & save some money there.

Need help for .280 Antelope load

Your 2 1/2" groups may just be you. H4831sc has been good for me w/ 140gr bullets, but you may want to try Imr4831 or RL19 or H4350. Every rifle is diff. I also like IMR7828 under the 140gr-160gr bullets. It's very uniform. I agree w/ the guys on the NBT, never been big on a bullet that explodes...

    For the Nosler guys

The problem w/ changing the NP design is R&D, plus adding a BT or PT will make it longer & change the basic flight qualities, which I find plenty accurate for 400yd shooting. It would be very simple to just apply the bonding process to the nose section of the std. NP. Simple, very effective &...

    For the Nosler guys

WHy would it be "damned expensive"? They lready have a bonding process, I would think it would be cheaper to manuf. than a Failsafe or PG. It would just add another step to the NP process & make a better bullet, IMO, than the PG. Come on Nosler guy!

    140grs Accubon in 7x57

Thanks for sharing. I am also a fan of the 160grNP/.280 combo. Mine is a M70, but I have a couple #1S, really like those rifles. I've been thinking of giving the 140gr NAB a try, but my .280 shoots the 160grNP so well I haven't wanted to switch.

    For the Nosler guys

Yeah Rogue, that's kind of my idea. I love the Partition, but could see the desirability & marketablity of a BonedPartition, The Bondition??????? Just the ticket for those realy fast movers up close.

    7mm mag scope for hunting?

I have a VXIII 2.5x8 on mine & have no trouble connecting out to 400yds. I think your 3x-9x is fine.

    For the Nosler guys

Does Nosler ever intend to make a super partition by bonding the front lead core? Don't get me wrong, I love the original design, in fact it is all I currently hunt with (except my .404 for obvious reasons). Since you are making a bonded bullet anyway, why not a bonded partition? Super...

    168gr Match Bullets on deer

I think guys that hunt w/ match bullets are just rolling the dice. They may work great for 90% of your shots, after all, dead is dead right? The problem for me is that 10% of extreme failure, and when they fail they fail big. http://forums.accuratereloading.com/gro ... /569104303 Now think of...

    Fire forming to Ackerly improved

Well you could dissect a round & weigh the charge, make sure it isn't an over load. I use a med. burner, starter load, for my .260AI & seat the bullet hard into the lands, no problems. I've fireformed w/o bullets before for my .404 jeffery also w/o problems (just to see if I could).

    .338 chamberings

If you do want to rebarrel, the .330Dakota is your cart. It is basically a short .338RUM. You can expect 200fps gain over the .338wm.

    7mm Rem Mag Accubond

    I like RL22 & IMR7828 in my 7mag. Start @ 61gr & work up. 7828 is a bit slower & usually requires 1gr more to get the same vel. as RL22.

....looking for "Bughole Load" for the .308 Win.

For pure accuracy loads, it's hard to beat IMR4895. For top vel. & good accuracy, give Varget, RL15 or VV150 a try.
