When looking at Hodgdon’s 30-30 load data for Leverevolution , it list a 24” barrel. I know it was slower than what I was expecting out of my Savage 30-30 , again my 20” barrel might have contributed to that.

I do have a jug of it on order too. I also have MP 605 that isn’t open yet , a Hybrid 100V equivalent. I have used their MP 521 (BL-C2) and I would say it is as close to BL-C2 you can get right down to the smell and looks. It loads grain for grain to BL-C2.

Nice Barnes load. 3240fps is exactly was Weatherby claims on their 300 Wby 180gr TTSX factory load.

Looking at Barnes , Cutting Edge , and Hammer , with their 160s a 8-8.5 twist is recommended.

Most overrun/blems MidWay sells are from Hornady. That would be my guess.

I don’t worry about headspacing off the belt. I treat them like unbelt cases 0.002” shoulder bump. Over sizing belted cases will lead to case head separation in a hurry.
