i got drawn as an alternate for an elk tag at fort hunter ligget and my question is does anybody know of an alternate that actually ended up with a tag for anything?

Just received a 13 inch barrel in 204 ruger for my encore, dies, bullets and brass are on the way, sometime next week. Anybody have any good loading information or experiance in a handgun. Should be good enough for any Boone and Crockett ground squirrel alive. And I'm not in the condor range either.

Does anybody use these? I put a set on .260 encore barrel and could never get any accuracy out of it, so I replaced them with TC's duoring setup and noticed slight dents around the scope body but it still did not shoot. So I replaced the scope and I'm back in buisness and it shoots...

Right now I get good groups with 260 accobonds out of an encore with a 15 inch tube using varget. It also shoots very flat at 200 yds.
