All,
Can someone run a QL for the 160 Woodleigh Welcore for the 26 Nosler. I'm wanting to try these and unfortunately no data exists. I have LRT, RL33, and US869 on hand. Thanks in advance.
Friends,
I need Quickloads for the 26 Nosler with RL33 and LRT for 120gr Nosler E-Tip and 127gr Barnes LRX. Nosler once fired brass, WLRM primers. 26" barrel. LRT data is scarce and most RL33 data seems anemic. Any help would be appreciated.
Preface: So I got into a project with my son this last summer. We decided to have an AR put together that would be a budget Upper swap project. Nothing fancy just plain jane nitride black. We did not want a vanilla 223/5.56 so I found a local shop that specializes in budget ARs to see the...
So being a diehard 6.5 fan I don't know how I missed this one. Its a stretched 6.5-284 to '06 length with a 35 degree shoulder and 81gr H2O capacity. RPM stands for Rebated Precision Magnum. first non venturi shoulder non belted Weatherby cartridge. designed for their backcountry sub 5 lb...
So far the Mauser M18 in 6.5 PRC(savage and Ruger are chambering it too!!) and the 350 legend new cartridge from Winchester, not in their bolt rifle but as an AR round.
what do you like so far?
So I have been kicking around the idea of putting together a multi upper AR. A lower with good trigger and furniture and then 3 different calibers(a DI gun not piston). Small, medium and large. I do not want a 223/5.56 too blah. So here is my short list, I want your opinions. figures are for...
Being a 6.5 junkie I sure am. 2960 for the 143gr and 2910 for the 147gr. factory loads and these seem to be light as Copper Creek is listing 3050 for the 143gr out of a 24". Hornady's own load data shows it topping out at 3150ish with 140-143 and 3050ish with the 147 out of a 26", still seems...
Hey all,
I haven't posted in quite a while but I have lurked. i wanted to let you guys know some news about the MRC X3 soon to be the X3. If you remember I was one of the first adopters of the 26 Nosler NOT on a Nosler 48 platform. I ordered an X2 from MRC in December '14 and received the...
So with all of the Creedmoor talk and the fine groups and easy to reload talk has got me the bug for one I think, you rifle loonies are enablers.
Having a 26 Nosler and loving it I am finding that itch for a "little" 6.5. I have owned and reloaded for both the Swede and the .260 and know what...
After manning the booth of my vet unit, Seabee Veterans of America Island X-16, at a Veterans Day celebration my 15tr old and I took our pistols to the local indoor and punched some paper.
A few months ago I had bought him his first center fire, An M&P 9 full size that I got a great deal...
So I need some input. I currently have only shot 140gs ABs and 129 ABLRs, both Nosler factory loads) in my 26 Nosler. Shots have been off bags at 100yds, about 40 shots through the rifle so far. As you can see the 129gr load is almost perfect(5/8") but the 140s haven't grouped as well, staying...
Well I finally made it to the range today. Unfortunately I left my shooting bags at home and had to make due with the crude front rest supplied by the range and my Otis cleaning kit on the back. 140gr AB factory loads no chrony. First shot at 50 to check my boresight job was just high and left...
My Talley LW rings came in the mail yesterday so I mounted and bore sighted the Steiner GS3 3-15x50. I am glad I got the extended rings as the mounting length on the Steiner is not so generous. Quick math tells me that its about 9lbs all in but I haven't put it on a scale yet. I am so excited to...
Just received my Steiner GS3 in the mail today. First impression is its built like a tank. a little heavy for my taste(why I've always liked leupold) but it is 3-15x50 30mm tube 5x zoom, there is no free lunch as they say. Incredibly clear and I like the S1 reticle but it is very fine, so in low...
Hey All,
Been hanging around awhile but this is my first post. as an introduction I am a lifelong hunter shooter and outdoors man, growing up in the whitetail woods of Missouri. My dad taught me to reload very young and its been a passion of mine. I joined the navy right out of high school...
