    .25 cal bullet test #2

All ready for the season to start. Tested several loads in my AR chambered in 25-45 Sharps. Also will be using a Rem 700 SA in .257 Roberts. Used some soft sided 5 gallon jugs filled with water for testing. Water is efficient and does well on comparing similar bullets, it does not simulate...

    30-30 Win bullet test #2

Working up loads for a Marlin 336BL Its a Remington built Marlin. No issues, its well built and looks as good as any Marlin I've owned in the past. Only aggravation so far is the trigger pull. After the deer season is over I will break it down and polish the insides and see if it smooths out...

    .25 caliber bullet test

I've only got a few bullets on hand so I thought I would run some expansion test before ordering any new bullets. Water jugs may not be the best test median but they are cheap. I set them up at 50 yards. I loaded the rounds to around 2,200 fps. out of a Savage 99 chambered in the 250-3000. So...

    30-30 Win Deer bullet test

New bullets for the 30-30 Win have sparked my interest in the old-timer. The original Barnes 150 grain X-bullet with its large hollow point looks good. Wasn't impressed with the velocitiy. The bullet is long and has a much greater friction bearing surface than a convinsional lead core bullet...

    105 gr. 6.5 semi-point Partition ?

Does anyone know were I can find these ? There made for the European market. They would sure work good in a short action 6.5 Rem Mag.

    6.8 Remington SPC

Will Nosler be offering any bullets for the 6.8 Rem SPC ? A 100 grain Accubond or a 110 grain Ballistic Tip would sure be nice !

    45 gr. Hornet ?

I can't find the NOSLER 45 gr. Solid base Hornet bullet. I've checked everywere. Are they still in production ?

7mm 120 gr. Solid Base Flat Point ?

I now they were designed for the 7-30 Waters at 2,700 fps. I've got a box and would like to try them in my 7mm-08 at around 2,800 fps. My max range is around 200 yards so the high ballistic coefficientcy is not needed. Is this bullet tough enough ? It will only be used on Georgia whitetails...

    110 gr. Accubond & the .250 Savage

Is the Accubond to much bullet for the .250 Savage ? Shooting southern whitetails and needing something to open fast but not blow up. I'm hoping to get around 2,700 fps at the muzzle. I'm a little scared of the 100 gr. Ballistic tips at super close range and those tough angled shots.
