Thanks for having me on this forum.
Looking forward to learning from all the knowledgable folks here.
I am from South Africa, used to hunt with my 223 Rem and 303 Brit, and recently aquired a 270 Ruger American.
I found a reasonable load with Vitavhouri N560, but the bullets are only doing 2800fps out of my rifle's 22 inch barrel. To be honest, I would have liked a bit more speed, just because.....
However, Vitavhouri lists this combination at a max speed of 2850fps, out of a 24 inch barrel.
I was wondering what speeds the members here were shooting these bullets at, specifically out of a 270.
