Would someone be kind enough to run a QL prediction with the following components. Wanting to play with some reduced ground squirrel loads in 221 FB. I ve shot them for years in 223 with great accuracy and performance.
Thx in advance.

221 Fireball
24” barrel
40 grain and 50 grain BT
1.875 oal
Blue Dot powder

Not many production rifles. Rem did a couple different runs in 700. In 2002 they did the classic, ran some 700 s in the LS ( laminated stock) model for a year or so. Cooper did some for a while as well as CZ but not a ton around.

It’s a great little cartridge in a rifle and with a 40 grain bullet does give up much to 223. It performs right with a 222 Rem due to it being loaded to higher pressure in factory ammo.
