Hi Everyone!
I'm looking to load up some Coyote loads for my 25-06. I have H4350, H4831SC, Varget, and H4895 on hand. I'm currently leaning towards the H4350 and H4831 but like to hear other 25-06 guru's opinions.
Thanks

I've never loaded anything under a 100 grain bullet for my 25-06 rifles. H4350 and H4831 both worked very well with the 100's.

Normally I load 115's for my rifle, with Retumbo or other slow burning powders.

And, welcome aboard!

Regards, Guy

I use 100 gr. NBT and H4350 in my 25-06 and get outstanding accuracy. H4350 will likely give you the highest velocity of the powders listed, but Varget and H4895 will be less than 100 fps slower at MOP.

I could live with a little less velocity if the Varget or H4895 if they give the best groups...Do you think they are better choices for the lighter 85 grain BT's than the H4350?

I have some 87gr sierra's I threw together 20 years ago with IMR3031(because that's what I had), that shoot well under MOA, sad I am down to my last 10 or so

I can't begin to estimate the number of rounds that I've sent downrange to find something slightly faster or more accurate. It's going down a rabbit hole and little good will come out of it. Between H4350, Varget, and H4895 you have three reasonable powders for launching 85 gr. bullets out of your 25-06 and it's likely that one of those powders will work out for you.
