Just finished a little range session with a box of factory loaded .378Bee ammo.
Top accuracy and max power stated the superiority this "over the top" caliber has.
Bullet weight was .270grain.

I have looked at Barnes txs 250grain. Has anyone here has any hunting experience with this bullet
loaded max packed?. The bullet is set to have a BC at .424 which quite well give the .378Bee a long reach.
Btw. Does anyone know what bullet the.270grain is in the Weatherby ammo?.

I think the 270 is a Hornady Spire Pt.. Not sure though..

Man, you gotta post a picture of that horse. That 378 is a MONSTER!

It doesn`t say a whole lot..
The rifle is a Ritterbusch with 26" barrel.

I wished I had spend more time at the range, but it was freaking bonechilling cold I would have taken pictures of the groupes performed at 100meters. However they were all within an old ½dollar.(8 shots)
My reloads did also "ok". These were 300 grain Swifts A-frames puffed with 110grain MRP. Groupes were a little larger within the silver dollar.
I just love the hard whack from this gun. I simply enjoy mash "play"button every time. I bought this rifle last year and the more I get to shoot this thing here, the more I like it and realizing it´s potential.
My .416Rigby has been retired for awhile...sent to Florida!!.

If there is anything that can be done with the 378 I have done it.

The 250 TTSX does have a nice BC. 114 gr of MRP or Reloader 22 will yield 3150 fps.
