7-30 waters anyone?

That was always an interesting cartridge. I almost bought one some time back. I regret not springing for it, but...

What is bad about that, is that I had quite a few of the 120 grain Hornady 7mm FN bullets lying around just begging to be used. I finally gave them away because I gave up on the idea.

It is, indeed, attractive. The cartridge itself is a fascinating one. It would be nice to see someone on this forum pick that up.
 
In truth the only thing that does look funky is the long tube. Levers and long tubes just do not look right to me.
 
One of my patients has one of those. He received it for 25 (?) years of service in his job, and yes he got to pick the item and caliber.
