Any Marlin MR 7 owners out there

I got one of these rifles in 270 back in the year they came. Very good shooting rifle. I was wondering if anyone else has one and what do you think. I like mine even though I don't use it very often. Stock is a little big, but other then that its a pretty well built gun. Don't see many around or hear people talking about them. I guess when they brought them out they weren't though of as a bolt gun maker only a lever gun maker.

I remember seeing a few of them Andy, and thought they were good looking rifles for the money. They seemed to all shoot well too..

I have owned one and worked in a few. Great quality and accuracy.

Never owned one, though I've handled a few that I thought I could easily own. All I have shot for customers were reasonably accurate, which only adds to the allure.

I have heard nothing but good on the Marlin MR7.

On second thought the only thing I would change is the get rid of that pressure point. They are identical to savages yet all savages are free floated.
