Charge weights for differing brands/weights of cases?

I bought some Graff brass for my 30-40 Krag chambered Handi Rifle. It weighs 14+ grains more than the Winchester cases I have been using. Besides working up loads and watching for pressure signs and comparing velocities, does anybody have any estimation how much this might effect the charge weights?

Also the rim is not chamfered like normal Krag Brass. Would this have any effect on performance (other than being one reason the case weighs more.

It looks sturdy and weights are more consistent than the Winchester.

It will vary ( in this case will be much less) but no way to tell other than work them up! Start at 10% less than your previous load and you should be safe, I mean, that's what "I would do". :) 14 grains more, they should last you a long time too Pard! have a ball!

Just filled up a fired case of each brand with the powder I plan to use (Reloder 16) and weighed them.

The Winchester holds just 1 grain more or about 2%. Be interesting to compare velocities vs charges.
