IDK what it is, but I really like the Winchesters now...they just look sleek and well put together. Now if only I had won that powerball...

Looks just like my 325WSM, except mine was built in the New Haven plant. It delivers a might blow to game when it sends a 200 grain PT downrange. No animal has walked away year.
 
The 8mm's have never been popular here in the US despite two great magnum 8mm's from American companies. Remington never pushed their 8mm Mag which is a great game cartridge and Browning/Winchester has pushed the .325 WSM for awhile but have sort of backed off. I would be happy to have either one but personally prefer the Model 70 as the platform.

This is to say nothing about the great European cartridges like the 8mm Brenneke which I would take one of in a minute!
