It is a good price, that's for certain.

The only down side is that its not a Remington. !!!

Both are nice rifles.
Scotty is getting weak at the knees for a 416. ;)

I hope so Jim.

I am tired of being the only one praying for a 416 325 gr AB!

There went my estimate of you as altruistic! Now I understand that you are focused on fulfilling your own needs.

I would go for it because it is in a Sporter and not a Featherwieght. I would not want any magnum over 7mm in the Featherweight, just my $.02.

Man, all kinda pressure around here today! I wished I had the money for it, but like Brian said, I am saving for tags and optics right now. I have some rifles without scopes right now, so I figure I aughta cool my jets till I get some glass.

...if it was sumpthin besides a .325 WSM, I'd agree that's the prudent direction, but since Scotty not having a .325 WSM seems to be the reason there are no 220gr. .8mm's, I think he should take the fall...

I know, I know. It is on the horizon, matter of fact, my local gun store as a 325WSM Featherweight, brand new for 650.00.. It has tempted me many times and most folks don't have a call for a 325WSM around these parts, BUT, I really would like a scope for my Pre64 338 before this Springs bear hunt!
