I was out to my Friend Rifle Range the other day shooting my .223 Rem and
He wanted me to shoot one of His Rifles a WWII Japanese action a Herter’s Stock a Barrel he installed in .243 Win. and Timmy Trigger. A Beautiful Rifle but two quirks it’s Safety which I liked and it cocks the action on closing.
He Fired one shot at 100 yards and missed the 8x11 target. So we moved up to 50 yards to get on paper he looked through the Barrel and fired one shot, high and left so he adjusted the Leupold 3.5x10 40mm scope went to the 100 yards and He wanted Me to shoot a three shot group. So I did take a look. I forgot to take a Picture of the Rifle, just the Target.

I fixed-up an old bubbaized 7.7x58 while ago.
Hunted with it several years.
It would put 3 inside of an inch.

Below you should find a pic of my Mom's 6.5 Jap. The thing is severely handicapped by a 9 pound trigger pull w/ lots of creep....and operator error. Im guessing the largest ones here are three inch dots. Shot at 100 yds. Rifle probably shoots better than I do...CL

Cool rifles you two have and my understanding is it has the strongest action of military rifles of the time.
